Ali's Cakes

All of our large cakes in our cabinet are Ali Glowing's creation. She specialises in her gluten free masterpieces whose recipes she has worked tirelessly for years to perfect. We all know it can sometimes be tricky to find a good gluten free cake, especially if it’s vegan too, but we have discovered that with the testing Ali has done over years, she really has found the secret to the yummiest wholefood creations! Double Choc Cake

This delicious cake is GF, Vegan and totally refined sugar-free!

This cake was made for the chocolate lovers and is always a crowd favourite. It's rich with Raw Organic Cacao and creamy avocado mousse frosting and is completely moorish. It's best served warm with a cup of our mouth watering hot chocolate, our hot chocolate is also refined sugar free and made with Raw Organic Cacao so isn't sweet but gives a wholesome chocolate flavour. If you have a sweet tooth you can always add a spoon of our raw sugar that you can find on your table if you're craving something on the sweeter side.

Both Ali's cake and our hot chocolate are made with Raw Organic Cacao and reap the benefits. Raw Organic Cacao has over 40 times the antioxidants of blueberries. Yes, you heard correctly, that's 40 times! Not only is Cacao high in antioxidants which are linked to a reduced risk of diseases, but it's also the highest plant-based source of iron known to man, at a whopping 13.9 mg per 100g. So rather than feeling guilty about eating Ali's cake and drinking our hot chocolate you can actually feel good about it! This lemon cake is moist and fluffy, using her very own specialty flour mix which features ingredients from The Natural Food Emporium. This recipe is so special as she worked tirelessly over four years to fine tune it, to make it what it is today. Cinnamon Swirl Cake

This delicious cake is GF, Vegan and totally refined sugar-free.

There's something nice about a bit of spice! Our staff have been craving this cake as the weather has begun to cool down, there's something about winter and delicious spices that pair so well. This cake is best enjoyed with a cup of coffee or a pot of chai on one of our comfy arm chairs in the front room.
